QUESTIONS?

WHAT KIND OF THERAPY DO YOU DO?

My approach is solutions oriented and direct. I offer both short and longer term therapy depending on challenge you’ve come to me with. I have expertise with and utilize several therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). In addition to these Evidence Based Practices, I draw from other mindfulness approaches as well as humanistic and behavioral theories. I'll use my understanding of scientific theory of human behavior with evidence based interventions well matched to your unique situation.

WHAT WILL I GAIN FROM WORKING WITH YOU?

I can help you discover new insight to old problems. You'll learn solutions that lead to increased confidence in handling the challenge which led you to seek therapy. I am proactive in providing direction to clients when necessary and always collaborative with problem solving. I will strive to help you look at and experience life a little differently so you can be confident in solving problems, comfortable with who you are, and doing what you really want to be doing.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

My services are often covered as an out of network provider. I do not currently contract directly with any insurance panel. Depending on your insurance, I may be able to submit a claim to your insurance. I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement according to your eligibility. If you want to use your insurance to cover our work together, it is important to inquire with your plan about your out of network coverage.

CAN I TALK TO YOU BEFORE I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Absolutely! I encourage it. Research consistently shows one of the most important components to you reaching your goals is a good match between you and your therapist. For this reason, I offer a 20 minute phone conversation so you have an opportunity to get answers to any questions you have and we can get to know one another.
